Trinity Seven: 7-nin no Masho Tsukai is a manga series written by Kenji Saito and illustrated by Akinari Nao. The manga was serialized by the Fujimi Shobo company in its Dragon Age shōnen manga magazine since 2010 and has been compiled into 27 tankōbon volumes as of April 8, 2022. A light novel adaptation was released by Kenji Saito and Akinari Nao and is being published by Kadokawa Shoten. The first volume was released on November 8, 2014.

The manga series has been serialized in Fujimi Shobo ‘s Monthly Dragon Age shōnen magazine since 2010. The first compiled volume was released on July 7, 2011. Kenji Saito and Sutarō Hanao started a spin-off titled Trinity Seven Levi Ninden in the manga series, which debuted in the December 2015 issue of Monthly Dragon Age on November 9, 2015 and ended in December 2016.

Another spin-off titled Trinity Seven Liese Chronicle started publication on February 9, 2017. On October 10, 2014, Yen Press announced at their New York Comic-Con panel that he had acquired the license to publish Trinity Seven in North America and that the first volume would be released on May 19, 2015.

An anime adaptation by Seven Arcs premiered on TV Tokyo on October 7, 2014, and later on TVA, TVO, AT-X. The series was directed by Hiroshi Nishikori and Hiroyuko Yoshino is in charge of series composition. The opening is “Seven Doors” performed by ZAQ and the ending for Episode 1 to episode 3 is “BEAUTIFUL≒SENTENCE ” played by Magus Two (Yumi Hara and Aya Uchida).

At the center of the plot is the teenager Arata Kasuga, who lived with his cousin Hijiri Kasuga until one day a black sun appeared in the sky, which destroyed the city and dissolved all the inhabitants. Before she disappeared too, Hijiri gave him a magic book, which he used to subconsciously create an illusion of the earlier city including Hijiri.

A few days later, the sorceress Lilith Asami appears, who frees him from this illusion and gives him the choice of either destroying the magic book due to its immense power and losing all memories of the event, or dying. He chooses the third path, becoming a magician himself, to find a way to bring Hijiri back again. Lilith then introduces him to the Royal Biblia School, where she teaches.

The headmaster tells him that in order to bring Hijiri back, he needs the cooperation of the seven most powerful sorceresses in the school: Lilith Asami, Arin Kannazuki, Levi Kazama, Mira Yamana, Akio Fudō, Yui Kurata and Lieselotte Sherlock. Each magician specializes in a certain topic that is contrary to their own character or a thing from which the magician is furthest away and is assigned to one of the magic archives named after the Seven Deadly Sins.
